Parent Training Opportunities
Hands-On Behavioral Training Workshop
This is an 8-10 hour course that covers basic positive behavioral approaches to teaching new skills and decreasing undesired behaviors. This workshop is taught by Sally Grevemberg, Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Executive Director, B.ehavioral & E.ducational S.trategies & T.raining. This group tutorial is offered to parents of B.E.S.T. clients and Valley Mountain Regional Center consumers in Stanislaus and San Joaquin Counties. Private and group consultations are also available. B.E.S.T. Parent Training
Parent Training is offered monthly for all parents, and privately, as needed, for the duration of services. Parent training sessions are arranged by BEST Staff, and cover a broad range of topics including basic behavioral principles, methodology and practical applications of Discrete Trial Training, as well as popular topics of interest such as Toilet Training, Behavior Management, and Reinforcement.
